ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
- Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
- Manage the payroll process to provide accurate and timely disbursements
- Coordinate payment of payroll related taxes and withholdings
- Prepare ledger and W-2 reporting
- Provide supervision and technical knowledge in the payroll area
- Resolve departmental payroll issues
- Coordinate with outside payroll vendor and resolve issues
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
- 2 year degree in Accounting or related field and 3 years experience processing a weekly payroll for 1100+ employees; or combination of equivalent experience and/or education
- 1 year experience with ADP / Workforce Now and Kronos workforce management
- Knowledge of applicable payroll regulations and reporting requirements

- Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally
- Must have the ability to independently lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Must have good eye hand coordination
- Work is performed primarily in administration building but may include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
- Extensive computer use
- Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
