Payroll Specialist

Must-Haves

• 1–2+ years payroll processing experience
• Client service experience and comfortable handling client inquiries by phone
• Strong time management, organization & prioritization
• Strong communication, analytical & problem-solving skills
• MS Office, including Word/Excel

Nice to Have

• PCP/NPI certification or working toward it

Responsibilities

• Own and process payroll for multiple client accounts
• Schedule, run, audit and balance payrolls
• Handle year-end balancing, filing, reporting and remittances
• Answer client questions around payroll, tax filing and processes
• Troubleshoot payroll issues with internal support teams
• Provide clients with payroll best practices and solutions
• Maintain payroll knowledge/certification and complete ongoing training

Pay: $50,000 - $60,000/year

Contract Duration: Permanent Full-Time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
