Payroll Specialist Multi Province Processing

Reporting to the CFO, the Payroll Specialist supports the Senior Payroll Administrator and accounting functions. The position handles payroll for more than 250 salaried and hourly employees, including Quebec. Candidates need payroll experience, education or PCP certification, basic accounting knowledge, and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare semi-monthly multi-province payroll for 250-plus employees
• Process hires, terminations, rate changes, ROEs, and records
• Reconcile benefits, contributions, and government remittances
• Prepare payroll journals, accruals, and government reporting
• Assist benefits administration, budgeting, audits, and accounting

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of payroll experience
• Payroll education or PCP certification
• Experience using ADP Workforce Now
• Proficiency in basic accounting and Microsoft Excel
• Organization, discretion, communication, and deadline management
