Overview

In this role you support and maintain Engineering IT services to ensure performance and alignment with end-user needs. You will manage deployment solutions and software packages while handling incidents, problems, and service requests related to installations, patching, and upgrades. The position is remote-based and involves collaboration with global IT teams to deliver new and enhanced services. This role offers hands-on support, maintenance tasks, and involvement in major projects with potential after-hours for system changes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support Engineering IT services to ensure operability and fit for purpose
  • Manage deployment solutions including building, testing, and debugging software packages
  • Resolve incidents, problems, and service requests related to installations, patching, and upgrades
  • Ensure end-user devices are patched and compliant with latest software releases
  • Assist with technical support, maintenance, and administration tasks
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support shared server responsibilities and IT operations
  • Contribute to delivery of new/enhanced services as part of projects
  • Support server-related tasks as assigned by the manager
  • Install software and maintain software portals
  • Manage IT collections and system configurations
  • Provide hands-on end-user support for IT-related issues
  • Occasionally support after hours for major projects or changes

Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • Knowledge of Autodesk applications
  • Hands-on experience with deployment and inventory tools (e.g., SCCM, PDQ)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019) and basic iOS knowledge
  • Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, distributed team
