Pediatric Hospitalist

  • Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage
  • Perform procedures as needed , including:
    • Lumbar punctures
    • Occasional internal jugular (IJ) line placement
  • Collaborate with specialists and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Shifts: (Nights) 7p-7a
  • Patient Volume: Approximately patients per shift
  • Active North Carolina license and North Carolina DEA are required at the time of presentation.
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • PALS life support certification is required. NRP certified is preferred.
  • EMR: Cerner
  • No delivery coverage
  • No circumcisions
  • Level 3 NICU
  • Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 Days
  • Travel and lodging provided
  • Malpractice Insurance provided
  • $230/hr
