Schedule & Coverage Details
Shift: 24-hour call coverage, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM (individual stints end the following morning at 6:00 AM)
Weekend Requirements: Yes
On-Call Requirements: Yes
Days per Month: 4-10 days
Reason for Coverage: Coverage gaps and locum providers requiring six-month breaks
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: RN

March 26-29, 2027
Additional ongoing dates beginning April 2027 will be released as schedules are finalized
Facility & Patient Details
Setting: Inpatient
Trauma Level: Level IV
Number of Beds: 25
Nursery: Level I
General Census: 0-2
Patient Population: Pediatric and adolescent
Pediatric admissions average approximately 10-15 patients per year and are generally low acuity
Youngest neonates treated are approximately 36 weeks gestation
Required Procedures & Responsibilities
Newborn admissions and discharges
Newborn resuscitations
Circumcisions
Emergency department consultations
Inpatient pediatric coverage
Qualifications & Requirements
Board Certified in Pediatrics
Active Colorado medical license or IMLC accepted
BLS
DEA
NRP
PALS
