Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in Texas 24-Hour Call Only Assignment

10/29 - 11/2
12/5 - 12/12 or 12/6 - 12/13 (can be flexible)
Ongoing coverage of 7-10 days per month to include a weekend
Credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Shift Details
24-hour call only, 7am-7am
Weekend coverage required
Up to 15 days per month spread over 2-3 weekends

Requirements
Board certified or board eligible
Texas license or IMLC
ABLS, BLS, PALS

Required Procedures / Skills
PICU care
Nursery Level I and Level II / NICU - Preferred
Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries
Pediatric ventilation management - acute and chronic
Pediatric intubation - newborn and pediatrics
Central line placement

Assignment Details
Practice setting: Inpatient
Admissions required
Patients per shift: 4-8
EMR: MediTech / Athena
Trauma level: 3
Call type: Beeper
Call response time: 30 minutes
Phone consults: 2-6
Patients seen during call: 1-4
Admissions during call: 1-4
Drive-in candidates only
