Pediatrics Physician

Pediatric Infectious Disease opening in Bangor, ME Part-timeWe are seeking a part-time Pediatric Infectious Disease physician. This will be a 0.5 FTE part-time position with the potential to expand FTE through shared time in our hospitalist group if desired. Pediatric infectious disease works primarily as a consult service with our pediatric sub-specialties and inpatient units, including our 6-bed PICU, Level 3 NICU, and pediatric ward. Referrals from our newborn medicine and general pediatrics services are additionally supported outpatient.

Qualifications
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Disease
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interest in teaching and outreach across a broad geographic area
• Desire to become part of a multidisciplinary pediatric care team
