Opportunity Overview

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an Anesthesiology Physician to provide anesthesia services in an established academic medical setting. This assignment offers a diverse patient population, a mix of independent and supervised cases, and a weekday schedule with no call requirements for locum providers.

Schedule and Coverage

  • Typical Schedule: Weekdays, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM

  • Expected Hours: Confirmed weekly schedule to be determined

  • Potential Hours: Opportunity for additional hours

  • Call: No call requirements for locum providers

  • Assignment Duration: 6 months

  • Start Date: November 30, 2026

  • End Date: May 29, 2027

  • Patient Volume: Approximately 4-8 patients daily

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care for adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients.

  • Manage a varied mix of anesthesia cases.

  • Perform both independent cases and supervision cases involving residents, CRNAs, and CAAs.

  • Support safe, high-quality perioperative care across a diverse patient population.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

  • Physician specializing in Anesthesiology

  • Board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) preferred

  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications

  • Ability to provide on-site coverage throughout the assignment

  • Experience caring for pediatric and neonatal patients is beneficial
