Pediatrics Physician

Pay: $150 Per Hour + Paid Travel, Lodging and Med Mal
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Volume: 20-22 Patients Per Day
California License Required

Position Highlights

• Outpatient pediatric practice
• Provide primary and urgent care for patients ages 0 19
• Collaborative team environment including physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, behavioral health, dental, and social services
• Focus on preventive care, health promotion, and disease prevention
  

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric primary and urgent care
• Perform age-appropriate histories and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
• Refer patients for specialty care when appropriate
• Accurately document patient encounters and procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings
• Promote preventive medicine, immunizations, and health education
• Deliver efficient, patient-centered care while maintaining quality standards
