Pediatric Residency Program Director & Director of Pediatrics

We're hiring a Pediatric Residency Program Director & Director of Pediatrics in Tampa, Florida, who wants to advance academic medicine, mentor the next generation of pediatricians, and shape a growing residency program while maintaining meaningful clinical involvement.

You'll lead a fully ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program alongside a thriving outpatient pediatric department. This dual leadership opportunity combines academic strategy, faculty development, resident education, and direct patient care.

• Approximately 3 days of academic/administrative leadership and 2 days of clinical care weekly
• Fully accredited residency program in its first year
• 4 residents per year, expanding to 12 total
• Lead curriculum, resident evaluations, accreditation, faculty development, and scholarly activity
• Precept residents, participate in didactic education, and maintain outpatient clinical practice
• Help guide a pediatric department of approximately 16-17 physicians and APPs at full staffing

What makes you a great fit
• MD or DO, Board Certified in Pediatrics
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license, DEA, and BLS
• Meaningful graduate medical education and residency teaching experience
• Academic leadership, scholarly activity, and qualifications appropriate for Program Director responsibilities
• Current Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, and experienced academic pediatric faculty are encouraged to apply
• FQHC experience is a plus, not required

Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary starting at $210,000+, based on experience
• $25,000 sign-on bonus
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000
