Physician (MD) - Pediatric Hospitalist


Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens assignment with an ongoing start date of December 1, 2026

  • Patient encounters per shift range from 2 to 5 patients

  • Department includes 16 beds

  • Facility is a Level 1 Pediatrics facility

  • Minimum board certification eligible required; board certification not mandatory

  • Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS

  • Fellowship training required

  • Required specialty skills include non-invasive ventilation management (neo-puff), newborn and pediatric ventilation management (acute and chronic), intubation (ETT/NT) for both newborns and pediatrics, conscious sedation, central line placement, arterial lines, chest tube insertion, X-ray interpretation, EKG interpretation, suturing minor lacerations, and circumcision

  • Preferred specialty skills include deep sedation, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle pneumothorax decompression, PA catheter, exchange transfusion, and swallow studies
