Pensions Managing Associate - Bristol

In this role, you will handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious pensions work for high-profile sponsors, trustees, insurers, and overseas parents. You’ll work closely with teams in London and Bristol to advise on scheme establishment, de-risking, wind-ups, and regulatory issues, while contributing to business development. The position blends advisory and litigation tasks, with opportunities to shape cross-border pension matters and product development. You will drive client relationships and support the team’s growth within a global firm culture.

• Advise on scheme establishment, mergers, de-risking, and wind-ups
• Provide trustee duties guidance, investment agreements, and regulatory compliance
• Manage pension litigation, trust-related claims, and rectification actions
• Work on cross-border pension issues and insurance product development
• Collaborate with London and Bristol teams and contribute to business development and client growth

• 6+ years PQE in corporate pensions from a top city or regional firm
• Strong technical expertise across advisory and contentious pensions work
