Turning people data into meaningful insight. Improving systems. Helping shape better decisions. At bpha, we believe great people decisions start with great data.
We're looking for a People Systems & Data Analyst to help us make the most of our people systems, data and reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's naturally analytical, enjoys solving problems and is passionate about turning data into clear, actionable insight that helps shape business decisions. The role works closely with the People Systems & Data Manager to support HR systems, maintain data integrity, improve processes and provide workforce insights that enhance both colleague experience and organisational performance.
This isn't just about producing reports.
We're looking for someone who can tell the story behind the data, identify trends, challenge assumptions and provide meaningful context that helps leaders understand what's happening and what they should do next.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our people data is accurate, insightful and accessible by:
- Producing people metrics, dashboards and management information that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Analysing workforce trends and translating complex data into clear insights tailored to different audiences.
- Supporting and developing our HR systems, including system enhancements, upgrades, testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve how we use data across the organisation.
- Maintaining data quality through regular audits, cleansing activities and process improvements.
- Supporting statutory and business-critical reporting requirements.
- Working closely with colleagues across the People Team and wider business to understand challenges, answer key questions and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Helping users get the best from our people systems through training, support and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
You’ll bring a combination of strong analytical capability, systems expertise and a genuine curiosity about how data can improve decision-making.
Essential
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience working with HRIS / HR systems in a systems administration, support or analyst capacity.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a naturally data-driven mindset.
- Experience producing reports, dashboards and management information that provide meaningful insight, not just numbers.
- Advanced written communication skills with the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience identifying and delivering process improvements.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Power Query.
- Experience supporting system updates, testing and troubleshooting.
- The ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations and actions.
- A proactive approach and passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Desirable
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI.
- Experience of data modelling and relationship design within Power BI.
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
Don’t worry if your Power BI data modelling experience isn't fully developed yet. If you've got strong reporting and analytical skills and are keen to continue developing in this area, we'd still love to hear from you.
Why join bpha?

If you’re someone who loves combining systems, data and insight to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
