People Systems & Insights Lead (Workday)

In this role you will own the end-to-end reporting and analytics landscape for Workday, enabling HR, Finance and senior leadership to answer questions quickly. You’ll shape metrics, build scalable reports and Power BI models, and establish a secure, AI-ready data foundation. You will lead the reporting strategy, design and maintain dashboards, and enable self-service while collaborating across HR, Finance and stakeholders. Your work directly enables faster, data-driven decisions and scalable insights for the organization.

• Own the reporting strategy and retire underused metrics
• Design, build and maintain custom Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards
• Develop Discovery Boards and People Analytics content; drive adoption
• Enable self-service through training and stakeholder enablement
• Build and maintain data flows between Workday and other systems; integrate with Power BI
• Lay the AI-ready data foundation with clean, governed people data
• Ensure data quality and security; implement report-level access control
• Automate recurring reports and deliveries (RaaS) to shift focus to improvement
• Handle BAU reporting requests to a high standard and identify patterns for improvement

• Expertise in Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite), Calc Fields, Worksheets, Discovery Boards
• Experience with Workday security (domain, business process, report-level)
• Proven ability to build and maintain Power BI reports and data models with Workday data
• Strong understanding of Workday data structures and organizational design
• Collaborative with HR, Finance and stakeholders; focus on usability and data quality
• Judgment to push back on requests and deliver practical, timely solutions
