Role Overview

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to drive performance assurance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. You will design and execute performance, load, stress, and volume tests, identify bottlenecks, and work closely with development and architecture teams to ensure scalable, resilient, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance testing strategies and test plans.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.
• Analyze test results and provide performance improvement recommendations.
• Monitor applications using Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, and Dynatrace.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to resolve performance issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Eggplant Performance .
• Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP) .
• Strong understanding of Performance Testing methodologies and NFRs .
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
• Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

• Kafka, IBM MQ, ELK Stack, Tableau.
• GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Git.
• Experience embedding performance testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security and compliance considerations in testing.
