Performance Tester

In this role you will define, develop and execute performance tests across the full development lifecycle for Capgemini clients. You’ll work within the BTS/MTS structure to drive testing transformation from embedded approaches to value-based services. You’ll collaborate with Technical Leads and delivery teams to tune applications and report how they behave in production scenarios. • Create Workload Analysis and Performance Test Approach documents from non-functional specs
• Develop performance test scripts, data and scenarios aligned with the documented approach
• Execute prescribed performance tests and log deviations from the defined scenarios
• Record test results and provide extrapolations for production performance
• Collaborate with Technical Lead and environment teams to fix issues and retest
• Prepare Performance Test Evaluation report summarising findings

• Strong capability in at least two performance test tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter)
• Solid technical background with knowledge of at least one programming language
• Fundamental understanding of web server, database and application technologies
• Experience in monitoring different servers, protocols and application layers
• Technologies: C#, .NET, TCP/IP, IIS, SQL Server, network/topology knowledge, RESTful services, WSDL, FTS
