About the Opportunity
Were looking for a relationship-focused Personal Banking Officer to join a collaborative financial services team in Scarborough.
In this role, youll help members make confident financial decisions by understanding their goals and recommending personalized banking, credit, mortgage and investment solutions.
Youll work closely with members, branch colleagues and internal partners to grow relationships and identify new opportunities. This is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys proactive outreach, consultative sales and creating a positive member experience while contributing to a supportive, community-minded workplace.

Your Responsibilities
Youll proactively connect with members through call plans, renewal lists, referrals and sales leads to understand their financial needs.
Youll recommend banking, credit, mortgage and investment solutions while providing thoughtful financial advice.
Youll build and maintain relationships with individual members, businesses, co-operatives and not-for-profit organizations.
Youll identify high-value opportunities and connect members with internal or external partners when specialized expertise is required.
Youll contribute to sales and retention goals by uncovering longer-term financial needs and following through on opportunities.
Youll apply risk-based pricing, anti-money laundering requirements and established policies while maintaining accurate member interactions.
Skills and Qualifications
3+ years of related financial institution experience, combined with post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience providing credit solutions, particularly mortgage lending is required.
Proven sales experience with strong interviewing, relationship-building, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Strong working knowledge of investments, lending, mortgages and financial needs analysis.
CSC or IFIC completion is an asset.
Financial Planning or similar continuing education is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and other common business applications, along with strong analytical and mathematical skills.
