Petrinex Production Accounting Analyst

Use Petrinex and production data analysis in Calgary’s hybrid work model, resolving volumetric concerns and reporting-compliance issues for a public sector client.

This Intermediate Production Accounting Analyst role supports oil and gas production and compliance data. You will provide Petrinex and infrastructure reporting guidance, reconcile AER information, and investigate discrepancies. The work also includes systems testing, regulatory reporting, and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Petrinex guidance for infrastructure reporting requirements
• Analyze volumetric and compliance discrepancies and corrective actions
• Reconcile information between Petrinex and AER systems
• Test production accounting and reporting process changes
• Manage noncompliance correspondence and financial adjustments

Requirements:

• Five or more years supporting oil and gas production accounting
• Petrinex reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance experience
• Production data and root-cause analysis experience
• Systems and process testing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline
