Review and verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness. Perform daily drug utilization review and manage specialty medication handling. Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with regulations. Provide outbound counseling calls to patients, addressing drug education and adherence. Handle inbound clinical calls and document interactions thoroughly. Support Spanish-speaking patients where applicable. Collaboration and Quality: Contact prescriber offices to clarify prescriptions and partner on alternatives. Participate in quality assurance activities and report adverse events. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements. Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college. Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing. Ability to obtain licensure in 3 additional states within 9 months.
