Phlebotomy Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomy Manager to oversee inpatient phlebotomy operations, manage staff, ensure quality standards, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily laboratory and phlebotomy operations.
• Supervise staff, training, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, The Joint Commission, and CLIA standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, safety, and process improvement.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related applied science.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge of CAP and The Joint Commission requirements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Preferred: Clinical laboratory supervisory experience and ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification.
