An evolving business near Wakefield is looking for a PHP Developer to join its growing team before Christmas.

Package

• 40,000 - 43,500 salary
• 31 days' annual leave.
• Hybrid working (1-2 days in the office)

The Role

• Develop and maintain PHP applications
• Build frontend functionality using JavaScript and integrate APIs
• Maintain and optimise MySQL databases
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues and implement improvements
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Collaborate with the design team to develop and improve product features and functionality

Required experience

• Strong commercial PHP development experience
• Experience with Laravel, Symfony or another PHP framework
• JavaScript knowledge, ideally Vue.js
• Experience with MySQL, MariaDB or similar databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration
• Exposure to AWS or Azure environments
