The locum tenens physician will work in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Admissions are required, and temporary privileges are available. The facility accepts multiple providers, encouraging a collaborative healthcare approach.Call Schedule:
  • One weekend per month to start
  • Weekdays: 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Weekends: 12-24 hour shifts, or longer if desired (max from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM)
  • Weekend mornings involve rounding on all patients by the call physician
  • Beeper/phone call responsibilities with a call room in the Labor and Delivery area
  • Coverage includes the ER and might involve occasional procedures such as D&C, management of ectopic pregnancies, emergent GYN surgery, and GYN readmitsCertification Requirements:
    • Board Certified: Yes
    • Fellowship: Required
    • Minimum Board Certification: CertifiedLicensing and Credentialing:Only bids from providers with active licenses in MO will be considered. The estimated credentialing timeframe is 45 days.
