A leading nonprofit healthcare organization in northwest Indiana, just 30 miles southeast of downtown Chicago, is seeking a BE/BC Palliative Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join its growing Hospice & Palliative Care program.Position Highlights:

Full-time Palliative Care opportunityPractice across two hospital campuses in northwest IndianaAverage of 2 outpatient clinic days per week, based on patient volumeInpatient-focused practice with an average daily census of 6 patientsAverage outpatient volume of 5-6 patients per weekShared inpatient-only call rotation: 1:4 (weeknights and weekends)Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team of physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, specialists, social workers, and an onsite chaplainNational Catholic Bioethics certification providedMission-driven program dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered hospice and palliative careSupportive, collegial practice environment focused on collaboration and quality careQualifications:MD or DOBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineEligibility for Palliative Care practiceEligible for an Indiana medical licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationPassion for providing compassionate, patient-centered careExcellent communication and collaborative practice skillsCompensation/Benefits:
