Quick Facts: Location: Quinter, Kansas Start Date: 11/30/2026 End Date: 03/01/2027 Shift: 5:45 PM 6:00 AM (12-hour nights) Hours per week: Varies, approximately 36-40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract/Travel (local accepted) Required Licenses: Kansas or Multistate RN license Experience: At least 1 year in MedSurg and postpartum care Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30 Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time (per law) Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement packages Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You ll Do: Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and postpartum units Administer medications and monitor patient conditions Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop patient care plans Document patient information accurately using CPSI/Perigen charting Occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities Maintain a 1:1 postpartum patient ratio and a 1:3 MedSurg ratio (average) Adhere to safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and NRP What You Need: Valid Kansas or Multistate RN license BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification via AHA (required) Minimum 1 year of MedSurg and postpartum experience Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently Ability to work night shift reliably About the Assignment: Join a small rural Critical Access Hospital in Quinter, Kansas, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations.
