      • Provide comprehensive optometric care in a community-based FQHC clinic setting
      • Manage general eye exams and routine eye health assessments
      • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered services
      • Perform vision assessments and prescribe corrective lenses for a diverse patient population
      • Document patient visits accurately using EMR systems with initial training/shadowing provided
      • Support the clinic's new patient intake and ensure quality care standards are metWhat You Need
        • Valid state-specific Optometry License (highly preferred)
        • 2+ years of professional experience in optometry or related field
        • Proficiency in Spanish highly desired
        • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
        • Ability to complete credentialing within 60-90 daysAbout the Assignment
          This position is based at a well-established hospital in Allentown, PA, supporting a new clinic aimed at providing accessible eye care services to the community. The provider will benefit from a supportive environment, a manageable patient load, and dedicated training and shadowing to ensure a smooth start. The clinic operates Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no evening or weekend shifts required.
