• Call only coverage beeper call, 1:2 ratio
• 30-minute call response time required
• Inpatient practice setting
• 3 - 6 patients seen per shift; 1 admission per shift
• PAs take first call 1 - 2 phone consults per shift
• General CV/thoracic surgery, open and endoscopic procedures required
• Coronary artery bypass, on pump and off pump required
• Valvular repair/replacement, aneurysm repair, aorto-thoracic required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
