          • Annual ER Volume: 80,000
          • Percentage of ED Patients Admitted: 35%
          • Total Number of Beds: 617
          • Documentation System/EMR: Epic
          • OR Staff: Full complement of experienced professionals
          • Patient Demographics: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with occasional child/adolescent casesRequired Procedures:
            • Trauma Cases: Adult, Geriatric, Penetrating, and Blunt Trauma
            • Chest Tube Insertion
            • Laparoscopic Procedures:
              • Appendectomy
              • CholecystectomyCandidate Requirements:
                • Board Certification: Required in Trauma Surgery
                • State License: Active Connecticut license required
                • Certifications: ACLS and DEA required
