Planning Engineer – Data Centres

In this role you will lead pre-construction planning for data centre projects in a London-based firm of construction consultants. You will work with cross-functional teams on build, MEP and infrastructure scopes, shaping schedules and sequencing. You will apply advanced planning tools to manage timelines and risks, ensuring robust pre-construction deliverables. You’ll collaborate with clients and senior stakeholders to drive on-time project outcomes and future opportunities for promotion.

• Lead pre-construction planning for data centre projects (build, MEP, infrastructure)
• Develop and maintain project schedules using ASTA Power PROJECT and Primavera P6
• Coordinate with project teams, clients and stakeholders to align timelines
• Identify risks and sequencing impacts; propose mitigation strategies
• Support senior management with progress reporting and planning deliverables

• Senior Planning Engineer with data centre or power project experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in ASTA Power PROJECT and Primavera P6
• Solid understanding of the construction process and pre-construction phases
• Excellent written and spoken English; confident in communicating at all levels
• Proven stable work record with construction consultants
