Platform and Application Engineer

Overview
In this role you will own end-to-end technical deliveries to improve Arm’s engineering experience. You’ll work with cross-functional teams on CI/CD, cloud-native services, and large-scale compute, shaping tooling used by hardware and software engineers. You will contribute to production support and incident response while aligning solutions with business outcomes. This is a hands-on opportunity to advance platform and developer experience at scale, within a collaborative, hybrid environment.

- Hands-on development and delivery of CI/CD, build, secret, and test-management solutions
- Develop services for SaaS and cloud-based, large-scale compute environments
- Leverage Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to optimize platforms
- Improve daily life and efficiency of Arm engineers through platform capabilities
- Participate in production support and paid on-call incident response
- Own technical deliveries from requirements to planning, implementation, and delivery
- 4 to 8 years’ DevOps experience
- Background in software development and build processes
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Groovy, Java, Golang, C, C++
- Experience with Cloudbees CI or Jenkins Pipelines
- Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD
- Linux-based infrastructure build, provisioning, and maintenance
- Knowledge of cloud services with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
