Overview

As a Platform Engineer II, you deliver scalable, high-quality platform services within a cross-functional team. You’ll contribute to platform design and engineering practices, enhancing developer experience and gold‑path adoption. You work with product and engineering peers to balance capability with cost, guided by metrics and feedback. You’ll operate within ENSEK’s agile, security‑conscious culture, shaping the platform that powers energy retail at scale. This role offers hands‑on impact in a fast‑growing company at an exciting international growth phase.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and ownership of tasks, supporting peers to deliver quality outcomes
  • Contribute to platform design discussions and articulate the platform’s value to internal teams
  • Leverage platform metrics and developer feedback to guide decisions and challenge assumptions
  • Balance capability with infrastructure cost when proposing platform solutions
  • Break platform work into incremental, testable slices and refine estimates with confidence
  • Apply agile principles to promote fast feedback loops and reduce unnecessary complexity
  • Write readable, maintainable infrastructure code and tooling (Terraform, Crossplane, Helm) following ENSEK standards
  • Contribute to platform testing strategies and observability, alerting, and production validation
  • Promote secure coding and least-privilege practices, including supply chain hygiene
  • Share learning, onboard engineers, and participate in platform engineering guilds and improvement initiatives
  • Document golden path guidelines to enable self-serve for teams
