Overview
In this role you design, build and maintain scalable Azure-based cloud infrastructure to support data platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, data and platform teams to streamline deployments, ensure data service reliability and support real-time and batch workloads. You’ll implement infrastructure-as-code, automate tasks, and enforce security and governance. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape high-performing data ecosystems at a global financial markets leader.

- Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and data platforms
- Deploy and support Azure-native data services (Databricks, Event Hubs, Storage)
- Manage and optimize SQL-based systems (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Automate operational tasks with Bash and other scripting tools
- Administer Linux-based environments
- Monitor performance, reliability and costs with optimization
- Ensure security, compliance and governance across Azure resources
- Collaborate with development and data teams to implement DevOps best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability
- Support real-time data pipelines and streaming architectures
- Terraform (mandatory)
- Microsoft Azure (core services, networking, security)
- Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Storage (ADLS Gen2 / Blob)
- Proficiency in SQL (querying, performance tuning, data workflows)
- Strong Python and Bash scripting
- Linux system administration
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Azure security practices (RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault)
- CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar)
- Git version control
- Infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Monitoring, logging, alerting (Datadog, Splunk)
