Platform Engineer

In this role you will design and operate a secure, scalable AWS Analytics Platform to empower engineering teams to deliver data products safely. You’ll work with product, security, and architecture teams to improve developer experience and automation across multi-account AWS environments. You will build reusable platform capabilities, apply security-by-design, and drive reliability and governance at scale. This is a hands-on, cloud-first opportunity to shape a cutting-edge data platform within a globally recognized company.

• Design secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Develop reusable platform capabilities enabling self-serve infra and cloud services
• Improve platform reliability, resilience, scalability and performance
• Support multi-account AWS environments following AWS best practices
• Build IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalents
• Automate provisioning, configuration management and operational processes
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for safe and reliable software delivery
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability across the platform
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking and application issues
• Participate in incident response, problem management and root cause analysis
• Apply security-by-design principles; implement IAM, secrets management, encryption and network security controls
• Support vulnerability remediation, compliance activities and cloud governance
• Promote AWS Well-Architected and security best practices

• Hands-on AWS experience in building production cloud platforms
• Experience designing deploying and operating secure, scalable, resilient production cloud environments using IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Excellent troubleshooting, monitoring and operational support skills
• Experience building cloud platforms that improve developer productivity
• Experience implementing monitoring, observability and operational tooling
• DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, Load balancing, Firewalls, Hybrid networking concepts
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
• Experience developing reusable infrastructure modules
