Overview

As Platform Engineer, you will help maintain and evolve our AWS-backed platform that powers a luxury online shopping experience. You’ll enable cross-functional squads with self-serve infrastructure and improve tooling to accelerate building, testing, and deploying services. You’ll ensure security, performance, and cost-efficiency while supporting ambitious growth. This role offers mentoring, chances to contribute to SRE and incident response, and a path to shape scalable, reliable foundations for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and contribute to the AWS-based platform enabling luxury shopping experiences
  • Develop platform initiatives to empower cross-functional squads with self-serve infrastructure from the AWS catalog
  • Improve tooling and developer experience to simplify building, testing, and deploying services
  • Review and optimize cloud infrastructure for security, performance, and cost-efficiency to support growth
  • Participate in mentoring, development, and training
  • Contribute to SRE and incident response efforts
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience running services in the cloud (AWS preferred)
  • Designing, maintaining, and operating production infrastructure using IaC (Terraform)
  • Familiarity with core AWS services (EC2/ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, API Gateway, S3, RDS, Route53, ElastiCache)
  • Knowledge of cloud CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions) and secrets management
  • Fundamental networking knowledge (VPCs, load balancers, routing)
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Scripting ability (Bash or Python) for CI/CD and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (Grafana)
