Overview

In this Platform Engineer role, you will design, build, and support our internal developer platform to accelerate software delivery across the business. You will develop infrastructure-as-code capabilities and strengthen CI/CD tooling to create consistent, repeatable environments and reliable production releases. You’ll partner with development teams to boost scalability, performance, security, and reliability, while promoting cloud engineering best practices. This is a hands-on, collaborative role that shapes a modern automation-driven platform in health tech.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and support the internal developer platform
  • Develop and improve infrastructure-as-code capabilities for repeatable environments
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD tooling and build automation frameworks
  • Support deployment automation and reliable production releases
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve scalability, performance, security and reliability
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve developer experience
  • Champion cloud engineering best practices, security and operational excellence
Key requirements
  • Strong software engineering experience with .NET and/or PowerShell
  • Agile and DevOps experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
  • Experience designing secure, compliant cloud infrastructure
  • Infrastructure-as-code using Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform or similar
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins or Octopus Deploy
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of SQL Server and NoSQL such as Cosmos DB or RavenDB
  • Exposure to SAST, SBOM generation and vulnerability scanning
