Platform Engineer – Windows or Linux (Contract, Outside IR35)

Overview

This is a chance to join a small, high‑impact Cloud Infrastructure team inside a fast‑growing, tech‑first financial services organisation. Your work will run, scale and improve the cloud platforms powering real, customer‑facing products used by hundreds of thousands of people daily.

Responsibilities

• AWS‑based environments supporting mission‑critical, customer‑facing applications
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Highly available, scalable platforms used for current accounts and investment products
• Secrets and access management (Vault exposure a bonus)

Required Skills

• AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, Lambda, API Gateways). Open to GCP/Azure with extensive Kubernetes experience.
• Terraform – hands‑on, not just running modules.
• Strong Kubernetes exposure in production environments.
• Confidence owning infrastructure and driving improvements.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
