Platform Engineer Kubernetes AWS

Build reliable platforms in Montreal using Kubernetes and AWS. Improve infrastructure, deployment workflows, and operational tooling for Plusgrade engineering teams.

This permanent Platform Developer role focuses on platform engineering, infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will support production systems while helping software developers deliver securely and efficiently. Plusgrade uses AI thoughtfully for exploration, testing, documentation, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and improve infrastructure as code
• Maintain automation and platform components
• Support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting
• Troubleshoot platform and production systems
• Participate in the on-call rotation

Requirements:

• At least three years of platform engineering experience
• Experience with cloud environments and containers
• Comfort with CI/CD and operational tooling
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation
• AI-assisted development or internal AI tool experience
