Platform Engineering Manager

Overview

• Delivery-focused Engineering Manager role with responsibility for execution, stability and risk management

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a CCTV engineering team delivering upgrades, governance and hardening
• Plan and sequence work to minimise disruption to live operations
• Own delivery governance including change control and release coordination
• Ensure secure working practices and compliance with security policies
• Coordinate with security operations and incident management teams
• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies and team capacity
• Maintain high-quality documentation, runbooks and operational handovers

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience leading infrastructure or platform engineering teams
• Strong delivery management and operational risk control skills
• Background in security-sensitive or regulated environments
• Ability to balance delivery speed with service stability
• Experience working across distributed estates and legacy platforms
