Platform Lead - Hosting

As Platform Lead – Hosting, you own the internal developer platform and cloud foundations, delivering self‑service capabilities used by hundreds of engineers. You’ll treat the platform as a product with a clear vision, prioritized backlog, and measurable outcomes, driving adoption through great experience. You’ll lead a cross‑functional team and communicate progress and value to senior leaders. This role supports easyJet’s growth by ensuring secure, scalable multi‑cloud foundations and developer enablement.

• Own multi-cloud Landing Zone strategy (AWS, Azure, GCP) including account design, network patterns, identity, policy-as-code, security baselines
• Build and promote golden paths that simplify secure, compliant workflows
• Drive adoption through excellent developer experience, not mandates
• Lead a cross-functional team with ownership culture and enablement
• Report progress, risks and value to senior leadership with clarity and confidence

• Led a platform, SRE or internal developer platform function with measurable outcomes
• Experience with product discovery and prioritization without over-building
• Strong background in cloud foundations: Landing Zones, IaC, guardrails, policy-as-code
• Ability to bridge engineering, security, architecture and leadership
• Treats agile as a mindset rather than ceremony
• Hands-on enough to earn credibility with engineers and strategic enough for director-level influence
