Overview

As Platform Manager for Global Technology D2C, you own the Shopify Plus ecosystem across 400 stores, driving scalable, reliable eCommerce operations. You blend business sense with technical excellence to optimize storefronts, data flows and integrations. You partner with cross-functional teams to enable new capabilities while maintaining security and performance. This role shapes how we scale D2C technology in a fast-growing, global environment.

Responsibilities
  • Setup and manage Shopify Plus instances, integrations and upgrades
  • Oversee end-to-end D2C architecture with PIM, OMS, WMS, Finance, CRM and Reporting systems
  • Manage user permissions, data privacy requests and deletions
  • Implement Shopify Flows and customer service workflows as needed
  • Collaborate with territory platform managers to align global standards
  • Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions with engineering teams
  • Troubleshoot production Shopify configuration issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process guidelines and training materials
  • Bridge technology and business teams to enable platform adoption
  • Continuously refine documentation and training to improve performance
Key requirements
  • 3-5 years technical management experience in ecommerce with hands-on Shopify Plus in multi-instance global environments
  • Proven experience with PIM, OMS and WMS systems
  • 10 years IT/Business Analysis or technical solution design experience, including 3-5 years in ecommerce
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify frontend standards, APIs and data structures
  • Track record translating requirements into practical, innovative solutions
  • Skilled in technical documentation, requirements gathering and architecture diagramming
  • Proficient in tools for process design, technical specification and knowledge management
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on time and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences
  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related discipline
