Overview

In this role you will own the Integration Platform vision and multi-year roadmap, guiding APIs, gateways, and connectivity services to align with business goals. You will lead delivery, manage stakeholders and funding, and ensure platform reliability and governance. The position focuses on scaling and adopting high-availability integration capabilities across the business, contributing to Primark's technology-driven growth. You will work with a cross-functional team to deliver impactful, measurable improvements and drive customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the Integration Platform vision and multi-year roadmap
  • Lead delivery and prioritisation across the platform, including progress tracking and dependency management
  • Manage senior stakeholders and secure funding through business cases and budgets
  • Ensure platform reliability, performance, and control (incidents, audits, embedded controls)
  • Oversee financials, resourcing, and vendor relationships, including ROI tracking
  • Drive adoption and customer success by enabling teams and platform users with new capabilities
Key requirements
  • 10–15 years of product management experience with a focus on API/integration or developer platforms in SaaS, fintech, or large-scale enterprise environments
  • Deep technical expertise in high-volume integration platforms, API lifecycle management, security/auth, observability, and platform operations
  • Proven track record scaling platforms from transformation to production with high adoption and secure ecosystems
  • Strong strategic and analytical ability to define platform strategy, ROI, and business value
  • Executive-level stakeholder and commercial management experience including funding, budgets, vendors, and licensing
  • Collaborative, delivery-focused leadership with experience in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and driving continuous improvement
