Platform Security Engineer Cloud Infrastructure

Build Jane’s emerging Platform Security function through cloud hardening, CI/CD protection, and systems-level problem solving across remote teams.

This Cloud Security Engineer role partners directly with Jane’s Staff Cloud Security Engineer as the function develops. You will secure cloud environments, application delivery workflows, container infrastructure, and sensitive health information. The work combines AWS, Terraform, CSPM or CNAPP tooling, secrets remediation, and software supply chain controls. You will help define practical guardrails that developers can use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operationalize CSPM findings and measure genuine security coverage
• Understand pipelines and strengthen container image validation
• Build actionable developer-facing security outputs
• Partner with infrastructure and product teams
• Improve runbooks and learn from security incidents

Requirements:

• Two to four years of solid AWS security grounding
• Terraform reading and writing experience
• Working knowledge of Wiz or Prisma Cloud
• Experience with secrets, IaC, containers, or CI/CD controls
• Systems thinker who follows issues to root causes
