This role spans the full technical sales and delivery lifecycle at Google Cloud . Day to day, you'll be building account strategies, running technical workshops, and working cross‑functionally to help customers successfully adopt and scale cloud solutions. Each responsibility below reflects the breadth of expertise this position demands.
- Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participating in planning and supporting targeted sales motions
- Combine expertise in sales, programming, and solutions architecture to prove the value of Google Cloud Platform through complex demos, pilots, and in‑depth workshops
- Architect cross‑pillar solutions , drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers; lead the technical engagement throughout the solution phase
- Facilitate post‑sales transitions by supporting pricing activities and transitioning the final delivery plan to implementation teams
- Monitor progress against the delivery plan, providing support to cross‑functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases
Requirements / Skills
Google Cloud is looking for a seasoned professional who combines deep cloud‑native architecture knowledge with the ability to engage confidently at the executive level. The ideal candidate has hands‑on technical experience and a track record of working in customer‑facing roles where both technical credibility and communication skills matter equally.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience with cloud‑native architecture in a customer‑facing or support role
- Cloud or infrastructure experience including cloud engineering, on‑premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms
- Stakeholder engagement experience presenting to or working directly with technical stakeholders or executive leaders
- Programming and prototyping skills across programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops
- Full business cycle experience (preferred) – defining delivery and consumption plans and transitioning them for execution
- Cloud AI technical solutions sales experience (preferred)
- Cloud migration experience (preferred) – migrating applications and services to cloud platforms
- Security concepts (preferred) – including encryption, identity management, access control, attack vectors, and penetration testing
