Overview

As the technical authority for the organisation's PLM environment, you shape strategy, architecture and governance to continuously improve PLM capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions that support manufacturing, engineering and product development. You’ll drive adoption, rollout, testing and end-user training while staying ahead of industry trends to inform future PLM roadmap. This role offers hybrid working across Barnstaple, Bristol or Beckington and the chance to impact safety, efficiency and interoperability through advanced PLM, with clear opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities
  • Define strategic direction and governance for PLM environment
  • Lead PLM rollout, testing and end-user training
  • Configure PLM to meet business needs and create deployment packages
  • Provide SME administration for the PLM system
  • Develop business reports from PLM
  • Advise on future PLM roadmap and monitor industry trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive complex technical initiatives
  • Support integration with enterprise architecture and data governance
Key requirements
  • Significant experience with enterprise PLM platforms and engineering data management
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle processes, configuration management, engineering change control and product data governance
  • Experience designing, implementing and supporting PLM solutions in manufacturing, engineering or product development
  • Strong systems integration and enterprise architecture knowledge
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Knowledge of ARAS Innovator PLM System
  • Development skills using Visual Basic or C#
