Pooled Product Manager, Asset Management

As a Pooled Product Manager in Northern Trust Asset Management, you will own the UK/EU pooled fund ranges from launch to lifecycle management. You collaborate with investment, risk, legal, and distribution teams to deliver well-governed, client-aligned funds compliant with UK, Irish, and Dutch regulations. You will drive product strategy, governance, and platform enhancements to support growth and efficiency. This role sits in a global product team based in London and offers meaningful impact across markets and regulatory frameworks.

• Lead lifecycle management of UK/EU pooled funds (launches, change events, closures, class issuance, ongoing enhancements)
• Oversee day-to-day fund maintenance ensuring structures, features, and docs are accurate and fit for purpose
• Own budget and expense oversight for the pooled product range with cost tracking and commercial inputs
• Provide strategic product support on tax, class issuance, structural changes, and platform development
• Coordinate regulatory filings and reporting for UCITS, PRIIPs, SFDR, SDR, MiFID and other obligations
• Coordinate production of Fund Financial Statements ensuring GAAP and regulatory alignment
• Support investment oversight and governance with cross-functional stakeholders
• Maintain fund content for websites and external disclosures to reflect approved documentation
• Prepare and contribute to board reporting and governance materials for committees and boards

• 4+ years’ experience in investment management, ACD or asset servicing including product management or lifecycle management of UK pooled funds
• Strong analytical, commercial and project management skills with ability to translate strategy into actionable plans
• Excellent written and verbal communication, governance papers and client/sales support materials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with governance and project management tools
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of UK pooled fund structures (UCITS, NURS) with practical launches and lifecycle experience; Irish and Dutch fund structures a plus
