In this role you will deliver portfolio performance insights and support underwriting strategy through pricing and exposure monitoring. You will identify trends and opportunities across the portfolio and contribute to planning, forecasting, and performance management. You will collaborate with underwriting, capital and reserving teams on strategic initiatives, shaping portfolio strategy within a respected specialty insurer. This role offers proximity to underwriting decisions and a meaningful impact on portfolio direction.
Responsibilities- Deliver portfolio performance analysis and profitability insights
- Support underwriting strategy through pricing and exposure monitoring
- Identify trends, opportunities and areas of underperformance across the portfolio
- Contribute to business planning, forecasting and performance management
- Partner with underwriting, capital and reserving teams on strategic initiatives
- Qualified or nearly qualified actuary
- Experience in portfolio management, pricing or performance analytics within P&C insurance
- Strong understanding of Lloyd's and/or London Market business
- Commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
