Portfolio Management Analyst UMA

Support portfolio managers at National Bank Financial with securities trading and account analysis for wealth management clients. Apply financial markets knowledge within the UMA team.

As a Portfolio Management Analyst, you will support portfolio managers and serve investment advisors and clients. You will work with asset allocation, performance reporting, account instructions, and systematic investment plans. The role reports to the UMA Portfolio Manager within a 13-person team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute security purchases and sales according to investment policies
• Prepare client account allocation and performance reports
• Verify deposits, withdrawals, coding, and systematic investment plans
• Support high-quality service for portfolio stakeholders
• Identify UMA platform issues and recommend solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related discipline
• Three years of relevant experience
• Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
• Good knowledge of financial markets and retail advisory services
• Organizational, analytical, prioritization, and summarization skills
