Portfolio Management Banking Manager

Analyze complex credit matters at BDC as a Portfolio Management Manager, using financial analysis and risk assessment in a hybrid work model.

As Manager, Portfolio Management, you will support BDC’s loan portfolio throughout the loan lifecycle. You will process service requests and annual reviews, evaluate client risk, and recommend solutions aligned with policies, processes, and risk standards. Your analysis supports Canadian entrepreneurs and their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete annual portfolio reviews and assess portfolio profitability
• Review financial statements and perform financial analysis
• Assess client risk ratings and monitor borrowing activity
• Evaluate complex service requests and recommend appropriate solutions
• Authorize, decline, or recommend loan amendments within approval authorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
• Three to five years’ Account Manager banking experience
• Knowledge of banking products, policies, processes, and procedures
• Experience assessing credit risk or risk ratings
• Ability to evaluate complex financial structures
