In this role, you will support investment teams by preparing and validating equity orders, monitoring cash flows, and ensuring timely execution in a fast-paced trading environment. You work closely with portfolio management, operations, and trading to align portfolios with models and guidelines while handling compliance matters. The position combines hands-on order entry with cross-functional coordination to drive efficient, accurate trade processing in a hybrid work setup. Responsibilities
  • Create and validate equity order baskets using the Global Modeling tool to align portfolios with models or cash flow needs
  • Modify and support orders in trading systems based on portfolio manager instructions, ensuring readiness for execution
  • Coordinate with operations, equity and fixed income trading, and portfolio management to address compliance and guideline issues
  • Monitor communications among investment, trading, and portfolio specialist teams to prioritize and complete orders accurately and promptly
  • Resolve order entry or transition issues by acting as liaison between investment teams and operations
  • Perform trade date matching and Straight Through Processing duties for daily trading activity (non-US market coverage as applicable)
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or related investment and trading operations experience
  • Proven expertise in equity, fixed income, and derivative securities
  • Experience with MFS proprietary trading systems (desired)
  • Ability to work independently in a demanding environment
