Post-Payment Verification Analyst (Processing Center Advisor)

We are seeking a Post-Payment Verification Analyst (Processing Center Advisor) to support the accuracy, accountability, and compliance of government-funded child care programs .

Review funding claims, supporting documentation, financial records, and program information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Analyze financial and operational data to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, overpayments, adjustments, and recoveries .

Interpret and apply policies, procedures, legislation, guidelines, funding agreements, and program requirements .

Perform compliance reviews, quality assurance, monitoring, verification, and risk-based assessment activities.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook , including formulas, sorting, and filtering large datasets, is required.

Experience with accurate data processing/data entry, business writing, documentation, and stakeholder communication is essential.

Candidates should have experience working in government or a highly regulated environment with complex policy and governance requirements.

Experience with financial reporting, case management systems, databases, records management, or Alberta childcare grant funding is an asset.

Location: Edmonton, AB | Primarily Remote with up to 10% onsite
